Style your own Ceremony Area

The Ceremony area can be dressed in keeping with a Garden Wedding, to fit in with your own unique style choices.  Chairs can be arranged in a semi-circle around you so that your guests can see and hear every part of your Ceremony.  They really won’t want to miss any part of it.

Beautifully restored period architectural features

The historic venue of Hornton Grange is a 1928 redbrick building in the Arts and Crafts style which was dedicated to recapturing the spirit and quality of medieval craftsmanship in architecture, wallpaper, textiles and furniture.

This charming former family home sits in the grounds of Birmingham University and forms part of Edgbaston Park Hotel.  It’s been beautifully restored with period architectural features inside and the original well-maintained, private mature gardens outside.

Your own Wedding Co-ordinator

You can invite up to 100 guests to your Secret Garden Wedding Ceremony for a Wedding Breakfast and 150 evening guests.  You’ll have your own Wedding Co-ordinator to help you plan your day down to the last detail.

As Hornton Grange is in the grounds of Edgbaston Park Hotel your Secret Garden Wedding guests can arrive the night before so they wake up feeling refreshed and with no travelling to do.  They can have a leisurely breakfast before they get ready. And then head outside to join you for champagne in this wonderful Secret Garden Wedding setting.

They can stay overnight on the day of your Wedding and leave the day after, fully rested after all the dancing the night before!
